The purpose of the ELI’s courses and training programs is to equip God’s people – disciples and ministers of the Word – for service in the church and in the world. Our teaching seeks to be deeply biblical, Christ-centred and practical. The institute operates within the framework of reformed and evangelical theological conviction based on orthodox Christianity. The Bible is God’s Word of truth – once for all delivered to the saints – and Jesus is the head of the church and king of the universe.

Courses and training programs are prepared for those who have a deep hunger for God’s Word, who wants to grow in the grace and the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and who wants to serve as pastors, teachers, missionaries, evangelists and witnesses of the Lord in the church and in the world.  Courses are also well suited for the continual ministerial and professional development of pastors and teachers.
